Maintains aquarium and sump water level to prevent pump damage
*
Save time and effort by automating aquarium top-offs
Automatically refill your sump or aquarium without lifting heavy buckets or spilling water. Floating sensors monitor water level and activate pump when water level drops due to evaporation. Helps maintain stable salinity/specific gravity and optimum water level to prevent pump from running dry. Features LED panel, Audible Signal alert and linkable brackets for installation. Requires
water pump, sold separately.
Pump Safety Protection: The A.T.O. Controller automatically stops power to your top off pump in the event that your reservoir is low on water. The safety feature prevents pumps from running dry and failing.

A very great product! My 240 gallon reef tank evaporated about 5 gallons a day. Now I never have to fill it up every day!
I got one of these ATOs to pump makeup water from my 24 gal RO/DI reservoir into my 210 gal planted tank, operating in mode A. No more hoses, buckets, water bottles, mess and bother! This thing works perfectly. I had to modify the mounting of the tank sensor to adapt it to my setup and hold the waterline where I needed it, but that was no real problem. The unit needs an ON-OFF switch so you can disable it during the drain portion of a water change procedure, but I plugged it into an external switch for this. This is a much needed device, and I am very pleased with it.
What a great product. I was hesitant about buying this product at first, but after using it for a few weeks, I'm spoiled. There is no more daily top offs for my 180 gallon aquarium!
Fantastic product. No more worrying about maintaining water level. Since the water level stays constant the salinity remains stable, not to mention other parameters. Well worth the money.
Spanning the most basic to the most advanced applications, a seemingly mundane piece of equipment, a sump, can provide numerous benefits, most important of which is improved water conditions.

Unlike natural aquatic systems, toxic compounds accumulate quickly in an enclosed aquarium system. Without a natural means to efficiently remove these toxic compounds or wastes, conventional aquariums are dependent upon filtration devices.
There are three basic types of aquarium filter media and each performs a different job to help keep a clean and healthy aquarium environment. This article gives a basic overview of the three main types of filter media.
