Shake well, then soak any type of freeze-dried or frozen food in 0.5 ml of Selcon in plastic cup. After soaking, fill cup with water so that contents can be poured directly into aquarium. Water will temporarily cloud, benefiting all filter feeding invertebrates for several hours.
Feed 1.0 ml to a portion of live brine shrimp (aerate heavily) to enhance their nutritional value, then wait 12 hours before releasing brine shrimp into aquarium.
For invertebrate/reef aquariums, add 0.5 ml per 50 gallons of water.

I ordered a bottle of this and I soak it with some mysid & brine shrimp every other day. I have noticed the greater color in my fish and my corals. This is great stuff and I highly recommend it!
I start using this product with my brine shrimp and flakes every day. I have some tangs that were very picky eaters. Now they eat everything, my fish grow a lot, but the best thing is they are very active now, my corals are fully expanded and growing. This is great! I highly recommend it!
Your success at keeping aquarium corals and
invertebrates depends upon your success at
recreating natural conditions. Use this chart to determine what reef supplements your aquarium needs.
Understanding trace elements and using them properly is not that complicated once a general understanding of what they do and what their levels should be is achieved. Mike Paletta helps explain how to acheive them in this article.
Fish need vitamins for health just like any animal. An improper or incomplete fish food diet can result in nutrient and vitamin deficiencies and the onset of serious conditions such as stunted or improper growth, a weakened immune system, or death.
Although it is impossible to reproduce the exact diet that your aquarium fish would eat in the wild, you can provide a healthy diet if you follow some basic feeding guidelines.
