I installed one unit to protect my pond from herons and racoons. This product is very successful in deterring these animals away. In my area, we see rabits, herons, racoons, and other animals. this causes Animal Away to "fire" more often which causes batterry consumption sooner. You probably will need to change the battery every 2 months depending on the animal activity around your pond. Overall, I am very satisfied with this product.
