| Water Repair™ Pond Salt stimulates the fish's slime coat, which acts like a natural protective defense against bacteria and parasites. It also reduces the effects of elevated nitrite levels (toxic to koi and goldfish) a condition often associated with newly set up ponds, overcrowding, and overfeeding.
As a treatment, Water Repair™ Pond Salt can be used to remove many external protozoal fish parasites (trichodina, chilodinella, ichthyobodo, esistylis) and fungal infections when used as a salt dip.
Note: Once Water Repair™ Pond Salt is added to the water, it does not evaporate or filter out. After an initial treatment, additional Water Repair™ Pond Salt should be used ONLY when making a water change. Treat only the amount of water being replaced. Do not use when you are only topping off pond water.
