Easy to Use
Operation consists of placing 1 to 2 drops of the sample on the prism, closing the daylight plate over the sample, then looking through the focusable, cushioned-rubber eyepiece for the reading.

These features significantly enhance the overall accuracy of our readouts - even when the instrument is used by several different operators. This model features a rubber grip on the body, which blocks the transmission of hand heat to reduce temperature errors.

Simple Calibration
The calibration ring eliminates the hassle of turning a calibration screw with a screwdriver while looking through the refractometer's eyepiece. Simply loosen the set screw, place a few drops of water on the prism, turn the built-in calibration ring until the shadowline is at zero, and secure the set screw - that's it.

Durable
Features a rugged construction for years of reliable use. The prism is mounted in all-metal housing which allows the sample and prism to reach temperature equilibrium quickly. Also features a non-roll stand to ensure that once the unit is set down, it won't be prone to roll off a table or benchtop.

I simply love this refractometer. It's so easy to use and extremely accurate. There's no complicated calibrations or tools to use. A must have for anyone with a professional marine tank. It even came with a neat storage bag!
