Installation:
The Mini-Jet pump must be installed in at least 1-1/4" (3 centimeters) of water in order to be certain that the water intake is totally submerged.
The output tube is not rigidly connected and can be twisted to allow installation without twisting any flexible tubing that might be connected.
The output may be connected to both rigid and flexible tubes with an inside diameter of 12 millimeters.
A suction cup support is provided for a more stable and silent operation.
Adjustment:
Mini-Jet pumps are equipped with a flow-adjusting feature (continuous adjustment) to fit the pump to different applications. To adjust the flow, simply slide the flow control to the desired position. The control is located at the front of the pump, near the intake.
Maintenance:
The motor is designed to ensure that overheating will not occur under any conditions. Little maintenance is required; however, occasional cleaning of the rotor assembly will ensure maximum performance.
For this, proceed as follows:
Remove front cover by pulling at the two indentations on the sides.
Remove the impeller cover by extending the two side clips.
Withdraw rotor assembly and clean under running water with a brush.
Reassemble by proceeding in reverse order.
