Works very well, I always had a problem with remembering to write down on the calender when I needed to do mainenance. Now I just check this to see what's due. Plus the bonus of the temperature monitor. Before I had this, I had a heater fail in the on position and killed all my fish. I would recommend this product. |

Product works great and the temperature readings are very accurate - I especially like having the High/Low alarm settings; particularly useful for tanks with heaters AND chillers. My only issue is that the scheduling of events is locked into weeks (one week, two weeks, etc.) and you can't switch between days/weeks/months. Also, the temperature alarm only beeps a few times when the temperature reaches threshold - I would also want the option to have a persistant temperature alarm. |

I have two of these. They are 2 degrees apart so obviously are not accurate but are still priceless. Just adjust the settings for heat and cold alarms accordingly and use a glass thermometer for backup. The alarm feature has saved my reef several times when heaters failed either on or off, potentially saving me MANY hundreds of dollars of lost coral I grew from frags that I cannot afford to replace. One major bummer is the batteries, I can't seem to find replacements. Unit works for about a year before you need new ones. |
