My tank's water stayed cloudy with the addition of driftwood. (Even after soaking days before adding). Even with several water changes, it would go back cloudy. Colonize turned the water clear in no time and it stayed clear!
This product is GREAT, just as good as cycle or even better! I add it once every two weeks to all my tanks and the water is crystal clear. It's the best buy for your dollar. I suggest buying the larger size.
Bacterial additives establish a healthy population of beneficial bacteria that efficiently break down ammonia into nitrite and then to nitrate. The use of bacterial additives is most commonly associated with the initial set up of an aquarium.
