Current Sundial T-5 Canopy Light Fixtures

High light output fixture without the heat. Relying on brilliant, energy-efficient T-5 lamps, the Sundial satisfies high light requirements while eliminating unwanted heat transfer or energy consumption. Convenient size format allows versatile use as primary aquarium light source or as supplementary light for large aquarium systems with or without a canopy. Sundial T-5 Light Fixtures include: Two each of the Slimpaq 460nm Actinic and 10,000°K T-5 HO lamps, docking mounts, fan(s) mounted at the back of the fixture, and two integrated timers. Measures 8-1/2" x 3-1/4" high.

• Set the current time - Turn the Rotary Disc until the "Arrow" points to the current time.
• Set the "Turn on" time:
  • There are 96 pushdown plastic slices (black color) on the Rotary Disc. Each slice or tab represents 15 minutes.
  • If the desired "Turn on" time is for 8 hours (480 minutes), 32 tabs would have to be depressed between the desired time increments.
  • Depress tabs and set the ON time.
• Plug the fixture into the power outlet and activate timers by sliding Timer Switch to the ON position.

This T-5 fixture is fantastic! Packed very well. Start by removing plastic from bulbs and setting timers for your lighting needs then choose to install legs or air spacers ( depending on your hood/canopy ) leg and spacers are included as are screws for legs, blue lens covers for moon lights and clear timer covers! Now the fun part.WOW!!! and I mean WOW! Affordable, lots of great features and the timers are adustable in 15 minute increments. I just received this today but from what I have seen so far this is a quality fixture, very happy with it and delivery time was very fast also! Fantastic light output and well made!

I just installed these on my 29 gallon reef tank and couldn't be happier. My corals and fish look better than ever. The built-in fan makes very little noise and the integrated moon lights add a very nice glow at night. The built-in timers are nice too, just one cord for the entire fixture. You can't go wrong with the Sundial T-5s

I love this light!! I have tried PCs and looked into MHs but this tops all with low temp and cost! And I love the timers. It is REALLY convient to use and makes my corals grow like crazy. I would recommend this light to anyone.

This is one of the most fully featured light fixtures I've ever had. Not only does it provide all the light sources to simulate dusk/dawn, daytime, and moonlight, its got timers integrated into the unit which makes them more accessible and reduces the number of cords you have to keep track of. I bought the 48" fixture for my planted freshwater aquarium and it's been a great investment. There is some small fan noise, but it's minimal and really helps reduce the heat transfer. Though the additional light did raise my water temp a little bit, I'm only using the rubber feet (since I have a glass top) instead of the docking brackets which would give you more air space and less heat transfer. All around I highly recommend the product.
