Use 1 package for aquariums up to 40 gallons, 2 packages for 40- to 100-gallon aquariums. Aquariums above 100 gallons require 2 packages plus one package for every additional 25 gallons.
Instructions:
Keep Chemi-Pure package sealed until ready for use. Be sure to place Chemi-Pure in an area of your filter that is large enough to accept the amount needed. Use the formula supplied to figure the amount of Chemi-Pure you need. Do not divide packages under any circumstances.
Do not open filter bag. Remove by turning bottle upside down and shaking. Rinse lightly and place bag in filter and flatten out as much as possible. Any area not filled by the bag should be packed evenly with glass or Dacron filter wool and then place a thin layer of the same over bag. Change wool and rinse off bag when flow-through filter decreases.

I have been using Chemi-Pure Elite Grande size on my 125 gallon Discus tank for over a year now and the results have been amazing! I use a sump filter and this is the only chemical filtration I use. I typically change it out every 3-4 months for best results. I used Purigen by Seachem prior to using this product, but found Chemi-pure to be superior and am very glad that I do not have to recharge it every month with caustic bleach like I did with Purigen. Chemi-pure is a must have for any aquarium!!

Excellent product. This works GREAT at keeping my water clear. It will reduce maintenance as well. It really is a good buy. The price offered here from Foster and Smith is very good.
I am using the Chemi-Pure Elite (2 bags) on my 70 gallon marine reef. (I have a wet-dry filter and a cannister). Incredible difference in the water quality. Zeroed out my ammonia problem pretty much overnight.. No comparison! Great Stuff. Buying 2 more to keep on hand.
