I have been using Hikari brand foods for over 15 years. Their quality is unsurpassed. Any time I feed my fish the Bio Pure freeze dried foods they go nuts.Their health while being fed purely Bio Pure is amazing as well as their colors. Excellent products. Keep it up Hikari.
The Daphnia was the first non-live food my baby bettas would eat and is still a favorite, second only to live baby brine shrimp. The Daphnia is very small and powdery, perfect for fry that like to feed from the surface as it floats for a long time.
Hikari Bloodworms are simply the BEST bloodworm you can BUY. I ONLY use this brand and my fish LOVE them and are super HEALTHY. These are the BEST bloodworms on the market and I tried ALL the brands. Buy these. Your fish will THANK YOU. :)
I use Hikari freeze-dried bloodworms all the time. I mixed them in with my flake fish food and my fish just go crazy for them. I have a large tank that houses dwarf Gourami's, 5 different schools of Tetra, Cory Cats, and a school of Roseline Sharks. Their color is bright and healthy looking and I highly recommend this product. A++++++
Good nutrition is a must for healthy aquarium inhabitants and a healthy ecosystem. Every year, thousands of fish become diseased or die because of malnutrition. Poor nutrition affects the fish's immune system, making them more susceptible to disease.
With the wide variety of commercial foods
available, it is sometimes difficult to determine
which type of food to feed your fish. When
choosing a food, the first thing you need to know
is what type of diet is natural to your fish.
No single food can provide all of the nutrients your fish need - protein, lipids, carbohydrates, vitamins, and minerals - in the forms each species prefer. Thus, the key to good feeding is variety.
Proper nutrition is essential for healthy aquarium inhabitants. Achieving good nutrition is more than choosing a food and feeding your fish. When selecting food for your fish, consider the dietary needs of all your fish.
